Every great idea starts with a moment.

For Gito Art, that moment came in 2024, when longtime friends Georgi Tochev and Vassil Naydenov visited an exhibition by Bulgarian conceptual artist Alexander Yuzev. Inspired by the way contemporary photography could transform the textures and details of traditional buon fresco into something entirely new, they began asking a simple question:

Why should art like this exist only in galleries?

That question became an idea - and the idea became a decision.

In 2025 Georgi and Vasil decided to bring their vision to life: to create Gito Art, a platform where exceptional artists and their work could find a place in contemporary homes.

What began as a conversation between two friends would grow into a creative journey spanning fine art photography, fresco photography, contemporary art, pop art, and collaborations with artists from different disciplines.
